A Baltimore City native, DiTanya is a former Baltimore City Narcotics Detective and former Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office Witness Protection Coordinator. The 1999 Recipient of the Maryland Governor’s Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Contributions in the Field of Victim Rights and Services, DiTanya now enjoys advocating for change, victims, and survivors through storytelling. A 2022 and 2023 National Coverfly Semi-Finalist, DiTanya loves screenwriting, is an avid traveler, and currently resides in South America.
